Shirley Chisholm Gets Black Heritage USPS Stamp

Uh, oh…Black History Month will be on and popping now 🙂  The new Shirley Chisholm Black Heritage USPS Stamp was released a couple of days ago. Chisholm is an iconic figure for black women/American history, as she was the first black woman to run for U.S. presidency back in 1972.  The documentary “Chisholm ’72: Unbought and Unbossed” chronicles her political journey.  Ms. Chisholm joins an amazing list of other “unbossed” black women honored with a Black Heritage USPS Stamp. Chisholm passed away in 2005 😦
